A Little Bit About Us...

Elsa: Peace Corps Youth & Family Wellbeing Volunteer in El Salvador. Interests include all animals, all types of wine, cooking (most specifically asian, french and italian food), and anything involving being outdoors.

Hannah: American au pair living in London. One part démodé hipster, one part Wellesley soccer mom, one part freespiritlovechild - in that order. Things that I like include: Maira Kalman, fromage blanc, White Wine Wednesdays, Hungover Yoga Thursdays, clothes that once belonged to my dad, and horses but only ironically.

Lauren is teaching English to six year olds in a little village in the south of France for the year. She is excited to share her culinary adventures throughout Europe, and hopefully Africa. Her interests include elephants of all colors and sizes, sushi with extra ginger, Agnès Varda, sangria with too much fruit, using the theory of intersectionality to understand the world, and hot vinyasa yoga.

Sarah B. is a global nomad who loves wandering the world and interacting with new cultures, eating delicious foods, both new and familiar, and has recently rediscovered the joy of eating meat. She finds her balance and peace doing pilates and exploring her current backyard of Vail, CO identifying wildflowers. She's excited to share her adventures of food with everyone!

Sarah H. is an intern at the Arab Institute for Security Studies in Amman, Jordan as well as the director of Iraqi Young Women's Empowerment Program. Food in Jordan and throughout the Middle East is what binds individuals and communities together. For this reason, Sarah is delighted to share her communal feasts and edible experiences as she explores Jordanian, Iraqi, and Palestinian neighborhoods in Amman.
